Genesis 1:14-19 reads: "And God said, let there be light in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times and days and years, and let them be lights in the sky to give light on the earth... and there was evening, and there was morning- the fourth day."
As we can see, day 4 is significant in Gods' creation, particularly in relation to the Earth and the stars in space, and the 4th day of the week is Wednesday.

The final days of Christs' ministry was 44 days long starting from his crucifixion and ending when he delivered his final message to the disciples on Mount Olive before ascending to heaven.
